Lodi is easily the most beloved characters in The Edge of Fate, and his sidequests are some of the most entertaining and heartwarming pieces of content in the game. In his four missions, Vessel of the Nine, Orientation, The Man out of Time, and Turophile, you'll learn more about the mysterious Lodi as you help him with tasks around the world of Kepler.
You can complete these quests as they pop up, or after you've finished the main campaign. They'll be there for you to go back to, so there's no pressure to do them in any particular order, as they're mainly for worldbuilding and some extra rewards along the way. However, if you want the Fated Weapon title, you'll need to complete these alongside the other Side Quests.
Vessel of The Nine

To start this quest, spawn into the Caldera and head towards the Central Academy. Inside the room with the Vex event, you'll find Lodi's notebook lying on the table. Interact with it to start the quest.

1. Find better signal to Call Lodi

First, you'll need to find better signal to recieve a call from Lodi. Open your map and set a waypoint for the quest, located in the Central Academy, following the small circle waypoint.

Go into the Central Academy, and walk forward to recieve a call from Lodi.
2. Search for an Energy Signature

For the rest of this quest, you'll be finding piles of House of Exile corpses, that have been coated in a strange energy. The first set can be found in the back Left corner of the Aionian Campus, around the back of a pillar.

3. Help Lodi by locating a second Slime

For the next pile, you'll need to head through the Left door after clearing the Rosetta frequency, and continue onward into a room of House of Exile enemies. Once eliminating them, the bodies can be found behind the boxes to the left.

4. Find another Slime

Continue forward into the next area, following the waypoint through a Rosetta-locked door.

Press forward again until you enter the Reactor room.

Head down the stairs towards the bottom to find the third pile of Eliksni Corpses.

5. Use the resonance of the energy point to attract the Archon's attention.

Finally, you've located the center-point of the resonance. You'll need to interact with the Floating Symbol on top of the bell to finish this quest.

Scale the broken wall to the left to jump onto the bell. Engage with the Symbol to complete this quest.

Orientation

To start this quest, head into the Stacks, and enter the console room to begin the quest.

1. Seek out vestiges of the Nine

For this quest, you'll be locating Vestiges of the Nine across Kepler. For this step, you'll need to find the Vestiges of I and II, hidden within the Outer Steppes.

For the Vestige of I, head towards the bottom waypoint. Make your way across The Stacks, using the Relocator cannon as you go.

You'll find the Vestige of I hidden inside of a room behind a pile of boxes.

For the Vestige of II, head back the way you came, through the train and into the open area once more. You'll find the Vestige of II within the wall, trapped inside.

You'll have to use Matterspark to get inside; the tunnel can be found underneath and to the right of the barrier. Enter Matterspark and go through the tunnel to gain access to the Vestige of II.

2. Locate a second group of symbols of the Nine

For the second lot of Vestiges, you'll be headed to The Gorge, tracking the Vestiges of V, VI and IX.

To find the Vestige of V, fast travel to the Assimilated Easement. Continue forward following the Waypoint until you come across a room of Choral Vex.

The Vestige of V can be found underneath a rock formation on the right side of the room.

To find the Vestige of VI, head back to the fast travel point. Then, turn around and go through the brick entrance towards the train.

You'll find the Vestige of VI on the floor, next to the train.

To find the Vestige of IX, follow the waypoint into The Stellar Sink, and use Mattermorph to make your way through the blocked doorway.

You'll find the Vestige of IX ontop of the Mattermorph tree in the center of the room. Jump up to claim it and continue.
3. Locate a third group of symbols of the Nine

The third group of Vestiges can be found in the Exile's Accord. In this area, you'll be looking for the Vestiges of VII and VIII.

For the Vestige of VII, fast travel to the Exile's Accord, and follow the waypoint through the Eliksni structures of the Curtilage Divide.

You'll enter an open room cluttered with House of Exile; here is where you'll find the Vestige of VII, at the end of one of the platforms.

For the Vestige of VIII, head back to the fast travel point and traverse into the Augur's Bethel.

You'll enter an open area covered in Mattermorph debris. Climb ontop of the structure in the middle of the room to find the Vestige of VIII.
4. Locate a fourth group of symbols of the Nine.

For this step, you'll need to find the Vestige of IV, which is located in the Central Academy.

Fast travel to the Central Academy, and progress forward through the open door.

In the next room, you'll find the Vestige of IV tucked between a pillar and a metal box.
5. Bind your connections with the Nine to the Orrery.

For the final step, head back to The Stacks and into the console room where you first started the mission. Walk up to the terminal and Invoke the Nine to complete this quest.

The Man Out of Time

To access this quest, head into The Stacks and traverse forward. You'll find a plane wreck and a small green plate. Step on the plate to activate a ghostly bubble around you, and begin the mission.

1. Investigate the time scars Lodi has located

In this quest, you'll be on a hunt around Kepler to investigate Time Scars that Lodi has discovered. This first step leads you to the Aionian Campus in the Central Academy, and the Curtilage Divide in the Exile's Accord to gather more information.

For the Aionian Campus Time Scar, fast travel your way to the Central Academy. Make your way through the left Rosetta-locked door into the room ahead.

You'll find the Time Scar on the top of a white box in the corner of the room. Step close to it to activate it and investigate.

For the Curtilage Divide Time Scar, fast travel over to the Exile's Accord. Traverse forward, following the waypoint, using Relocator and Matterspark to get through.

You'll find the Time Scar above a pool of dark matter fluid. Move closer to open it and investigate.
2. Investigate the next time scar Lodi has located

The next Time Scar to pursue is within the Caldera.

Fast travel your way there and follow the waypoint outwards, heading directly forwards from the Altar.

Jump up top to discover the Time Scar. Walk inside of it to investigate.
3. Investigate the final time scar

To find the final Time Scar, head back to The Stacks where you began the quest, in front of the plane wreckage. Speak to Lodi about his past- and his future- to complete the quest.

Turophile

To start this quest, head to the Outer Steppes, and into the Outer Wastes. Continue forward until you reach the checkpoint. Clear the room of enemies to continue.

You'll need to solve a puzzle to get inside of the room holding the Turophile quest. To solve this puzzle, shoot the Satellite behind the Criticality mission node until it is pointing towards the quest, and walk towards the exit on the left to find a second Satellite, which you should turn until it is pointing upwards.

Shoot the starting node to successfully build the chain and activate the Portal. Once you're inside, run forward into the room and interact with the Vex head to start the quest (and claim a secret collectible next to it.)

1. Destroy the Vex hunting after a strange signal

You'll come across a dismantled Vex, named Sharp Cheddar, pleading for help from the Guardian.

After interacting with Sharp Cheddar, an invading Vex party will spawn, looking for Sharp Cheddar. Eliminate them to continue.
2. Examinate the remaining wreckage of Vex

After eliminating the invading Vex, turn back to Sharp Cheddar and examine it's head.

Sharp Cheddar will ask for our help in hiding its existence, and deleting the trace that is tracking the Choral Vex to it. You'll pick up Sharp Cheddar's head and continue with the quest.
3. Search the area for clues about this Vex's provenance

For this next step, you'll have to traverse deep into the Outer Wastes to track the signal that is alerting the Choral Vex to Sharp Cheddar's existence. As you enter the area, you'll find a field of blue energy on the floor. Collect it to remove the signal.

4. Defeat the second Vex Ambush

By interacting with the trace, you've drawn more Choral Vex to your location. Eliminate them to keep Sharp Cheddar safe.
5. Return Sharp Cheddar to Dean Rebecca.

Teleport back to the Caldera, and talk to Dean Rebecca. The Dean says the Aionians will take in Sharp Cheddar, and keep it protected. This concludes the end of the quest.
