Gouge is a mission in The Edge of Fate, within the Exile's Accord Strangelet quest. In this mission, you're tasked with taking down a Servitor end boss to try and stop The Archon's plans. It's a lot lengthier than the two preceeding Exile's Accord missions, and can be a bit tricky to navigate due to the Exile's Accord's geometry and puzzle-centric nature.
Gouge Mission Guide
Launch into the mission, and head forward through the tunnel.
In the first room, head towards the back to find a barriered entrance.
To open the barrier, jump onto the platform above and look to the left to find a jammer. Break it to lower the shield and carry on through.
Keep progressing forward and upwards until you get to a forked road.
Head towards the right until you get to an open platformed area. Jump across towards the back to continue.
You’ll come across another barrier, with a shielded jammer. To lower the jammer’s shield, head backwards to find a servitor named ‘DISTRIBUTION SERVITOR, HOLY SHIELD’, and kill it.
Break the jammer to lower the barrier.
Continue forward and head into the room on the right to find another barrier, and a shielded Distribution Servitor.
Head past the two into the next room, where you’ll locate a jammer. Break the jammer to lower the Servitor’s shield. Kill the servitor to lower the barrier.
Head on down past the barrier to find your first chest.
Continue forward, slaying enemies as you pass. When you come across a barrier, turn left and continue past it.
You’ll come across another forked pathway. Take the left exit and progress forward into the next room.
At the back of the room, you’ll find a moving fan blocked by lasers. Jumping onto the top of the tube connected to it will reveal a relocator pad and portal.
Turn around and walk to the other side of the room and through the doorway to find the relocator cannon.
Shoot the cannon through the top hole to the Relocator Pad, being careful not to be blocked by the fans.
Step through the portal and jump down to continue.
In this room, you’ll find several pathways to follow- the left side revealing a Matterspark pad, the right a Relocator Cannon.
First, head towards the right side by jumping into the top tunnel. Inside, you’ll find a relocator portal. Jump underneath to find the Relocator Cannon. Pick it up.
Jump back up to the top platform, and head into the tunnel next to the Relocator Portal. Walk to the end to reveal a Relocator Pad. Shoot it and go through the portal, teleporting you to the left side of the room.
On the left side, you’ll be greeted with a Matterspark tunnel. Head down to find the Matterspark pad. Activate it and head into the tunnel.
Fall down and continue forward in Matterspark, until you enter the inside of an Eliksni container.
As you enter the open area, head left, watching out for lasers and smoke traps.
Head downwards and through the booby-trapped door, until you come across a grey doorway. Head through and downwards to begin the next encounter.
Inside this room, you’ll find a big shielded servitor, and a large barrier. To lower its shield, head to the left where you’ll come across a doorway.
A jammer will be inside the room. Shoot the jammer to lower the servitor’s shield and start damage.
Once it’s dead, a second smaller Distribution Servitor will spawn. Killing this will spawn four more smaller servitors, which can be killed to lower the barrier.
Past the barrier, you’ll come across a Relocator Portal, and an orange tunnel filled with laser traps, cannon relays, and a satellite.
The Relocator Cannon can be found on the right wall in a smaller tube.
To complete the relay, shoot the satellite until it is facing towards the right, and then shoot the first relay. Head into the portal and continue forward.
Rally up and jump down to start the last encounter.
In this room, you’ll be met with a shielded jammer. To the right, there will be a barriered entry with a exploder shank inside.
Interact with the terminal next to the entry to lower the barrier and head through.
A servitor will follow behind you, closing the door again.
To exit, jump up to the platform, and walk through the tube to exit back into the main room.
The jammer in the centre will no longer have a shield. Break the jammer to open up the barrier once more, and free the servitor.
Kill the servitor to open the second barrier, revealing the boss ‘GIVER’S BOUNTY, EXILE PRIME SERVITOR’. Head inside to start the first damage phase.
Once a third of Giver’s Bounty’s health has depleted, the second phase will begin. Next to the boss, you will find a Relocator Portal and a relay. Head down the stairs to find the Relocator Cannon.
Shoot the relay to activate the portal, and step through to enter the second area of the encounter.
Inside, you’ll find another shielded relay, and a servitor. Head into the doorway on the right to lock the servitor inside barriers.
As you move to the end of the room, you’ll find a Relocator Portal. Head back and follow the pipes to find the Relocator Cannon.
Bring the Relocator Cannon back to where the Portal is, and shoot through the vines to a Relocator Pad to enter the main room again.
Break the jammer to free the servitor, and kill it to start boss damage once more.
Once damage is done, you’ll find another Relocator Portal and Cannon to the right of the boss.
Shoot the relay to the top right of the boss, and step on the portal to be relocated to the third area of the boss room.
There will be another shielded jammer and servitor inside of this room. Head into the door at the back to trap the servitor.
In this area, head directly left. You’ll find a Matterspark pad on the floor, and a glowing indicator to the right showing the Matterspark Tunnel.
Head down the tunnel and follow through the path to enter back into the main room. Shoot the jammer to expose the servitor, and kill it once more to begin damage.
Closing Time
Now that you've completed Gouge, you can continue with The Edge of Fate's story, whether that be the other Strangelet quest, or continuing forward into The Edge of Fate.
